Events
Dance Elite is involved in several events during each semester. There are a mix of competitive, social, and community events. There is also a recital during the spring semester.
Competitions:
There are three major competitions during the year: one in the fall at Menominee Falls in November and two in the spring: Spirit of America Dance Competition at the Mall of America in Bloomington, Minnesota sponsored by UDA (Universal Dance Association) in January, and Sun Prairie high school in February.
Social and Community:
Dance Elite also showcases their talent for both social and philanthropic purposes on and around UW-Madison's campus. Some events in the fall that Dance Elite participates in include the UW-Madison's homecoming celebration and Dance Marathon benefit for pediatric AIDS. In the spring, Dance Elite participates in the All Campus Party and Relay for Life.
